ARC

Abingdon Rowing Club

Abingdon RC has active squads for all ages, whether your goal is racing at National Events or you just enjoy getting out in a boat. If you’re not sure which squad would suit you, and for more information, please get in touch with the Club Captain via the Contacts page.

The club runs beginner courses in Spring and Summer to provide people with a taster in rowing and the basic skills required to take part in the sport recreationally or competitively.

After completing a course, new members may be invited to join the novice/intermediate squads and progress to racing, or, once assessed as self-sufficient, are able to row recreationally if they wish.
